The Social Hub Delft

We organized a brunch here the day after we got married, for all our wedding guests. As locals, we always feel welcome at the Social Hub, and after a chat with Julia it seemed like the right place to invite our wedding guests for a brunch here. The Social Hub was extremely helpful! Communication with them was flawless and always clear and to the point. They made sure we could use the breakfast buffet for brunch, reserved an area, and even arranged mimosa’s. The food was simply amazing (especially the scrambled eggs) and all our family and friends loved the vibes at this place. Everyone who had luggage was allowed to store it, we felt super welcome. We can recommend the social hub to anyone who wants to organize a personal event here! And seriously, try the scrambled eggs;) Thanks so much everyone at The Social Hub!

Warning: if you are a student do yourself a favor and stay away from this awful place(it will save you tons of money and headaches) Honestly I had an extremely unpleasant stay. The whole thing is extremely overpriced first of all. I had several problems but what has really angered me is that they kick you out of your room in the middle of finals. Even if you ask to extend your stay(paying 100 euros each night which is a huge amount of money for just one night) they will made you check out and check in into another room. Mind you this will make you lose at the very least one day of studying. I to move rooms one day before my last final. For an institution made for housing students they sure don't care about them one bit. Please don't go here it is not worth it. I also want to add that they lost for two months one of my packages. Also one of the receptionist was extremely rude to me another time. A packages of mine had been misplaced but I was sure it had arrived and she refused to check twice for me and also disrespected me several times. Another problem I had was with the laundry machine system. You could not put two machines at the same time so forget of doing your white laundry at the same time as the clothes with colors. Also the driers never work. You have to put them at the maximum heat and twice and even then your clothes are still humid, maybe even wet. Additionally the cleaning of the rooms is terrible, it is almost non-existant. Also the kitchen is shared between 16 people or so. You are paying more than a thousand (A THOUSAND) euros each month for a kitchen that is always filled with people. Moreover the shower gets stuck once a week and the water overflows(everything is for show, pretty but has 0 functionality)Lastly, the desk has barely any space. You can fit in a laptop and baraly a paper to write. There is barely space to manouvwr with the mouse. Mind you this place should be designed for engineering students which need more space on their desks(given that the closest university is TU Delft). Awful experience, I have nothing good to say about this place. If at least it was affordable, but that's clearly not the case. Nothing, and I mean every single word of this, is going to make me come back to one of these establishments EVER

Stayed here for a “long term stay” for two months and couldn’t have found a more perfect place. It’s such a great option if you are looking for housing and have not found anything yet, or even just to live there if you can afford it. The staff are so dedicated and helpful, you can tell they really love working there. They clean the room every week, and there is laundry, workspace, food, bar, events, friends etc. Miss staying here already!

Positively surprised! Booked last minute for New Year’s Eve and got room on last floor with great view on fireworks! Room was very cosy and clean. Big plus for hosts, customer service on top level. Thanks to Iness for explanation and support during our stay! Only minus is that the hotel doesn’t have own parking and you need to find a place near by which were pretty expensive. For sure will look forward to stay in other places with this hotel!
